Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide CADD support to Product Care and Research and Development (R&D).

Primary Responsibilities:

· Basic design work including fit studies, tolerance studies, etc.

· CADD support based on red lined drawings.

· Performs other assignments as directed by local management.

· Interact and support other functional areas of the department such as Quality Assurance and Model Shop.

Pay Range:  $28.24, $35.31  Compensation is based on the skills and experience of the candidate.

Qualifications:

·   Associates degree in CADD or a related field required.

·   Minimum of two years’ experience in field of expertise is required.

·   Strong mathematical skills required.

·   Computer Aided Drafting experience is required.

·   Solid Modeling experience is required.

·   SolidWorks experience is required.

·   Cosmos experience is preferred.

·   Practical experience or understanding of woodworking, metal working and plastic manufacturing is preferred.

·   Demonstrates proficiency in all office systems/skills, Microsoft Office.

·  Previous experience with the use of an ERP system is preferred. Use of SAP preferred.

·  Must be extremely detail and accuracy oriented.

·  Must be process oriented.

·  Must have good organizational skills.

·  Must be a good decision maker and problem solver.

·  Must be an excellent communicator.

·  Must present a positive and professional appearance and image.

·  Must be an independent self-starter who is capable of functioning in a team environment.

·  Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
