The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment for building, and machines by performing the following duties.

· Repair damaged and broken mechanical equipment

· Preventative maintenance to all equipment

· Initiates purchase orders for replacement parts and supplies

· Responsible for maintaining inventory of production equipment replacement parts

· Work with outside vendors or contractors for machinery repair or upgrades

· Train others in the function of equipment as necessary

· Mechanical training or experience required

· Electrical certification or experience preferred

· Experience with repair and maintenance on industrial sewing machines a plus
