MAME invited every active candidate for the Maine Senate and House of Representatives to complete our 2026 Candidate Survey on Manufacturing and Maine’s Business Climate.
The survey asked candidates about issues affecting manufacturers and other Maine employers, including energy, workforce development, taxes, regulation, infrastructure and data centers. The results include candidate scorecards organized by legislative chamber and district, the communities served by each district and candidates who did not respond.
This nonpartisan resource is part of MAME’s ongoing advocacy work and is intended to help our members, their employees and Maine voters make informed decisions before early absentee voting begins Oct. 5. Survey results reflect candidates’ submitted responses and do not constitute endorsements by MAME.
